Success Strategies for Anger

Personally, I only speak on what has helped me. I use to never experience what success felt like. Most of the time I looked for strategies that would help me relieve my anger. I was mad at the world. I blamed everyone but myself for the outcomes of my life.

I can see the difference between how I use to think and now. When we are young, we have not experienced enough life or have throughly thought about the essence of life. When you begin to think that life is a random sequence of unpredictable actions – well, you begin to feel hopeless. When you begin to feel hopeless, you begin to gain, unknowingly a failure-mentality. When you begin to acquire a failure-mentality, you can never and will never find success.

If you begin to think you can never acquire success, you will begin to experience anger.

Why? Because you will start to feel that everything is outside of your control – that means that your parents, teachers, politicians, your dog is responsible for your success. I added ‘your dog’ just to make you get a sense of how stupid the idea is that everyone else is responsible for your success.

It takes a certain kind of person to try to reason through all the clouds of thoughts. A person must begin to realize that they are the center of their own world. No matter where you are at this moment, look around you, you are at the center of it all. If you take a step forward, you are at the center of it all. You are responsible for your success.

I, however, understand how difficult it is to try to figure all this out without any outside inspiration. Without any guidance or direction, so I have put together what has helped me out the most.

3 Important Things You Need to QUIT to Become Successful

Quit Procrastinating

Delaying or procrastinating only means two things: (1) You don’t know where to start and (2) doing them is against your will – probably someone is just forcing you to do it. Remember that most of the opportunities only come once.

Quit Stopping

Imagine yourself in a running marathon.

The gun goes off: “Fantastic! Today is gonna be the best record! I know I can make it.”

Mile 5: “Yep I’m still okay!”

Mile 10: “Ouch my feet hurts! Can I quit now?”

Mile 15: “Where’s the freaking finish line? I’m tired!!!!!”

Finish line: “Wow…That. Was. Awesome. When’s the next one?”

If you feel like quitting, don’t. Always ask yourself why you started it, then push yourself towards your goal. You’ll never know what will happen on the next day. Or worse, you’ll never know what it feels like to reach the finish line (your success).

Quit Saying No

How many times are you going to turn your back to the opportunities that has been given to you?

It is important to know on the things you’re saying no to and what you’re trading for it. You might find yourself saying yes to things you don’t even care about and no to things that could make your life better in so many ways.

4 Tough Decisions You Have to Make Before Getting Rich

moneycount

We all make permanent decisions in our daily lives. Some are not so big of a deal – i.e. thinking of what to wear today, what to eat, where to go, etc. But some are sort of tough decisions – i.e. choosing your dream school, what course should you get, what kind of job are you going to apply for, and many more.

But in terms of getting rich, what are the following decisions you need to make in order to succeed? Here are the 4 steps:

Step one: Decide to Be Rich
You might say “I just want enough money to pay the rent. With my current job, I don’t think I have an ability to afford any other things” or “I just want to have decent clothes, that’s all”, then it really tells what kind of person you are – pessimistic. How could you be rich if you keep telling yourself that you can’t?

Step two: Start Small, Dream Big
Let’s say you have $800 in your savings account. Do you think it would grow if you’d just opt to buy that new arrival LV bag? Obviously not. Start up a small business that you are familiar with.

Step three: Choose Your Colleagues and Business Partners Wisely

More often, rich people get richer because they spend time with other rich people or people who have the same goals as theirs.

Step Four: Get Bigger and Bigger!
I just want to share this meaningful quote that might change your viewpoint in life: “The bigger asset you build, the less work you’ll have and the more money you make.” Focus on the assets you build. Oftentimes, individuals who dream small, think small, and work small, work the hardest and are paid the least. So obviously it’s not the hard work that matters most. It’s your ASSETS.

  1. Visualize yourself as already successful

Nothing beats a positive attitude, so create a mental picture of how you would walk, dress, and live the way you wanted to be in the future. Create a routine that would inspire you towards your goal and always ACT upon it.

  1. Keep your eyes on the prize

Always search for the possible money-making opportunities around you. Are you good in writing articles? Try to create inspirational books or novels, who knows if soon enough you’d have your own publishing company?

  1. There’s nothing wrong with learning by trial and error.

Soon enough, you’d be able to build a reservoir of experiences that will keep you more aware in terms of coming up with the right decisions. You may also want to examine the lifelong habits of successful leaders in your chosen field; and learn from it.

Tips on How to Conquer Your Fears that Holds You Back to Become Successful

blog-you-need-to-face-your-fears

Fear is an emotion that is just normal for human like us to feel. It might be because of threats, living entities, animals, etc. This fear – obviously has big impact as it stops us from doing something we need to do.

On the other hand, specifically when you are just starting a business, you might actually fear about:

  • Rejection
  • Bankruptcy
  • Not having enough resources
  • Wasting of Time
  • Lack of confidence
  • Thinking that you are not well enough

I think the last part is somewhat the main cause of everything. Thinking that you are not well enough might result to lack of confidence when facing the people, so basically you won’t spend too much of an effort to do what it needs to be done. And if that happens, other people might think you are just playing around, so probably they won’t listen to you anymore.

If this is your case, what should you do? How will you conquer your fears that holds you back to become successful?

  1. Acknowledge your fear and its causes. Admitting that you are afraid of something is great as you are starting to get aware of yourself including your strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Write everything down. What are the things that fear you the most? Do you think you can conquer them? Write it on a sheet of paper. Well, perhaps you can just use or laptop or mobile phone, yeah?
  3. Feel the fear. Repeat after me: “Everyone has their own fears. I’m not alone”. Just feel the fear and experience it fully, but make sure it won’t control you for so long.
  4. Now, brace yourself for the battle. It’s time to face everything. Did you know that most of the opportunities only come at once and NOT everyone isn’t fortunate to have the chance. You don’t want to miss a one time, big time opportunity. Do you?
  5. Take every small steps. Don’t rush things. Start small, little by little, and soon you’ll notice that you’ll have actually conquered a mountain!

Always remember: “To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.” – Bertrand Russell
